Deion Sanders’ 8-2 Buffs have their highest ranking in the AP Top 25 since 2016. CU will travel to Kansas City to face the Jayhawks on Saturday.
BOULDER, Colo. — University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders addressed the media Tuesday following the Buffs’ blowout of Utah last Saturday.
The Colorado Buffaloes (8-2) are preparing to travel to Kansas City to play the University of Kansas Jayhawks (4-6) on Saturday.
The game will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Mountain time Saturday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
Sanders was joined by Colorado superfan Peggy Coppom, who was celebrating her 100th birthday on Tuesday.
Coppom has been a fixture of CU athletic events for decades, side-by-side in her yellow sweater next to her twin sister, Betty Hoover, who passed away in 2020.
Ranked 16th in the newest Associated Press college football poll, every CU football game this season will be broadcast nationally on ESPN or network TV.
The CU-KU game is being played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Jayhawks’ on-campus stadium undergoes renovations this season.
