LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Some residents in Larimer County have been ordered to evacuate due to a new wildfire burning northwest of Fort Collins.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said residents living in the area of North County Road 29C must evacuate.
The fire is burning near Teds Place at the intersection of Highways 14 and 287.
Poudre Fire Authority posted that it was responding to a wildfire just before 2 p.m. Tuesday. The fire is estimated to be about 5 acres, and firefighters are working to suppress it and protect structures in the area.
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Poudre Fire with the wildfire.
