CU will be in the national spotlight this weekend, hosting one of the biggest pregame shows in college football.
FOX will bring its nationally televised “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show to Colorado Saturday morning before the Buffaloes host Utah at Folsom Field.
The broadcast runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. MT on FOX, but the party will begin a lot earlier at CU’s Farrand Field. Buffalo and Ute fans are invited to attend the show.
“Big Noon Kickoff” features host Rob Stone and analysts Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn and Mark Ingram II. The show was also on site in Lubbock, Texas, last Saturday for Colorado’s game against Texas Tech.
Every CU football game this season will be on national television. The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that Colorado’s next road game, against Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 23, will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Mountain time. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
The CU-KU game will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Jayhawks’ on-campus stadium undergoes renovations this season.
Of the 12 games this season, the Buffs will have nine games on network television and all 12 on either the flagship ESPN or network television, both program records.
