GREELEY, Colo. — The 19-year-old man who was killed in a shooting the night of Nov. 2 has been identified.
Jesus Manuel Solis was identified as the victim killed in the shooting near the University of Northern Colorado campus, the Weld County Coroner announced Thursday, nearly a week after his death.
The Greeley Police Department said the shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in the 2000-block of Ninth Avenue. Solis was found lying in the roadway, police said. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said they believe Solis and suspect knew each other, and “this was not a random attack.”
