GREELEY, Colo. — A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting Saturday night, the Greeley Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday in the 2000-block of Ninth Avenue, near the University of Northern Colorado campus. The victim was found lying in the roadway, police said. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released.
Police said they believe the victim and suspect knew each other, and “this was not a random attack.”
