DENVER — Multiple lanes on northbound Interstate 25 were closed Saturday morning after a man was shot.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office posted just before 6 a.m. that deputies were investigating the shooting on I-25 near the intersection with U.S. 36.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Investigators have located a person or persons of interest who may be connected to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
Three lanes of northbound I-25 were closed, as well as the ramp from I-25 to westbound Interstate 270, while deputies investigated.
Drivers were advised to find alternate routes.
