In the right situation, it can greatly benefit both parties and you it “can be done anytime from home,” per Dana.

To get started, it would help to have or grow a decent following on a social media platform, ideally Instagram or TikTok.

If you already have 1,000 or more followers, you’re in a great spot.

Costco would then ask that you make consistent posts promoting or highlighting some of their merchandise.

The retailer would also provide specific links for you to use so customers can click and buy the items if they’re interested.

When customers buy merchandise through your specific affiliate link, you get a cut of the profits, typically around 10%.

So, the better you market, the more products you sell, and the more money you and Costco make.

There’s really no cap on how much you could earn with the affiliate marketing program, and Dana’s range would reflect selling around 300 to 500 products per month if they were $100 apiece, considering a 10% commission.

That would also be pre-tax earnings.
