AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened early Monday morning.
The crash involving a motorcycle happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 225 at 6th Avenue, the Aurora Police Department posted on the social platform X.
Police said the crash closed all northbound lanes of the highway between 6th Avenue and Colfax. The interstate reopened around 4:13 a.m.
Aurora’s Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
