Several crashed vehicles were on the scene Friday morning in Aurora for the crash.
AURORA, Colo. — Southbound Interstate 225 reopened in Aurora after a deadly crash early Friday morning.
Lanes were closed in the area of the Parker Road exit around 12:45 a.m. while authorities investigated the crash, and were back open around 4:45 a.m.
Several wrecked vehicles were on the scene as well as law enforcement from Aurora Police Department, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado State Patrol.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) first posted that the interstate was closed around 1:30 a.m. Friday “due to safety concerns.”
