Earlier Wednesday, CSU said people in the area of Laurel Village, Durward Hall and Corbett Hall should remain inside their rooms due to unspecified police activity.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado State University lifted a shelter-in-place around three residence halls just before noon Wednesday but still asked people to avoid the area.
CSU Police were in the area of Laurel Village, Durward Hall and Corbett Hall. About 10:30 a.m., residents were asked to remain inside their rooms due to unspecified police activity. The shelter-in-place was lifted about 11:50 a.m.
People were still asked to avoid the area as an investigation continued.
