GREELEY, Colo. — Two people were killed in a serious crash that resulted in an hourslong closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 34 near Greeley.
According to Greeley Police, the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on Highway 34 near Highway 257. Three people were ejected from the vehicle involved.
Two were pronounced dead and the third was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
All westbound lanes of Highway 34 were closed for several hours but reopened around 10:30 a.m., Greeley Police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
