Several sunny, warm days ahead, with a couple opportunities to reach record-breaking highs.
DENVER — THE FORECAST BY: 9NEWS Weather Impact Team Meteorologist Laurann Robinson
FORECAST AT A GLANCE:
A warm, sunny day ahead, with highs reaching the upper 80s, Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday evening, calm, mild weather sticks around, with lows roughly 10 degrees above average, only dropping into the middle 50s.
Temperatures climb even further, Thursday, with near-record highs expected. Right now, it’s looking like we could reach 90 degrees in Denver, which would match our record high of 90 degrees, set in 2010.
Friday, a weak front will drop our temperatures a tad, into the middle 80s. Additionally, we’ll look for late-day, brief, spotty showers across the high country. The front range and plains should expect to stay dry.
For the weekend, sunny, dry, warm weather sticks around. Highs reach the middle 80s, Saturday, then climb into the lower 90s, Sunday (possibly reaching yet another record high).
