Forge Christian football makes statement with dominant win over Kent Denver

The Fury throttled the Sun Devils in a 50-6 victory to remain undefeated.

ARVADA, Colo. — What a way to make a statement.

The Forge Christian football team (ranked No. 3 in Class 1A) faced a tall task in remaining undefeated this week when No. 3 Kent Denver (2A) came to visit.

Consider it no problem.

The Fury throttled the Sun Devils in their first game on their new field Friday night, a 50-6 victory to improve to a perfect 4-0.

Forge Christian has had a dominant start to the season, outscoring their opponents 184-13 to catch the attention of the rest of the state. Senior quarterback Sullivan Strange led the attack with four total touchdowns, three through the air and one rushing.

The Fury will look to keep things rolling when they travel to Manitou Springs next week.

Kent Denver (2-1) will aim to bounce back after their first loss when they host Aspen next Saturday.
