Sunny skies, with highs in the lower to middle 50s, Sunday afternoon.
DENVER — FORECAST BY: 9NEWS Weather Impact Team Meteorologist Laurann Robinson
The Forecast At A Glance:
Saturday evening, cloudy skies across the front range/eastern plains with overnight lows in the upper 20s. Light, scattered snow showers to the west will fade out this evening.
Sunday, another sunny and seasonal day is in-store, with afternoon highs in staying in the lower to middle 50s.
Sunny, seasonal weather sticks around for Monday, but changes are in-store for Tuesday.
Tuesday afternoon, our next, much colder, system moves in, dropping highs into the upper 30s, along with scattered, light snow showers. Right now, this is not looking like it will be a major snow event, maybe just a dusting of snow in the metro area. Snow totals will be higher in the mountains and south of I-70, across the southern plains.
On the back-end of the storm, look for chilly, breezy conditions. Highs only rise into the middle 40s, on Wednesday, with gusting winds throughout the afternoon.
Prepare for a major warm-up through the end of next week, with afternoon highs in the lower 60s, next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
