Bell ringers can choose their locations and hours, according to the charity. Volunteers can sign up by going to registertoring.com.
For those looking for a paid bell-ringing position, they can go to denver.salvationarmy.org to find the closest Salvation Corps location to their neighborhood. Paid bell ringers need to be at least 18 years old.
All the donations collected through the Salvation Army’s bell ringing campaign stay in the Denver metro area, the nonprofit said.
The Salvation Army said it provides 1,800 nights of shelter and more than 3,000 meals a day in the metro area.
