WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A man who was wounded in an assault in Westminster last month has died from his injuries, police said on Thursday.
The victim, 34-year-old Jonathan George, was found with serious injuries on Oct. 20 in the area near 121st Avenue and Huron Street, according to police. He was pronounced brain dead on Nov. 7 and later died.
According to police, the assault happened between 7:20 and 7:35 p.m. on Oct. 20 in an area that did not have cameras, and they have been unable to locate any witnesses. As a result, they have not been able to identify any suspects and don’t have any descriptions of the person or people responsible.
However, police said they believe the attack was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.
