Colorado Lotto+ is on fire. A small town in southern Colorado sold a winning jackpot ticket during Wednesday’s drawing.
LA VETA, Colo. — A tiny Colorado town has a big lottery winner.
A $2.6 million Colorado Lotto+ jackpot was awarded in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning ticket was sold to one player in the town of La Veta. The ticket was sold at Charlie’s Market on 214 S. Main St.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Nov. 13, drawing were 1-7-12-19-27-32. The winner will also be able to choose to take a cash lump sum of $1.3 million.
With a population of 878, La Veta is located in Huerfano County, west of Walsenburg, in southern Colorado.

What is Colorado Lotto+?
Colorado Lotto+ tickets cost $2, with an option to add Plus for an extra $1. The jackpot starts at $1 million, with drawings held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
As Colorado’s own jackpot game, players can only purchase and win Colorado Lotto+ if they are in Colorado.
The biggest Colorado Lotto+ jackpot to date was $25 million in January 2022. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 30, while the odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 3.84 million.
