For nearly four decades, Denver Botanic Gardens has transformed for the holidays with a mile-long path through immersive displays.
DENVER — The signature event at Denver Botanic Gardens is back this holiday season.
Blossoms of Light, a Denver tradition for nearly four decades, transforms the York Street gardens into a twinkling wonderland.
More than one million lights are used to illuminate a mile-long path. Features include a 200-foot-long light tunnel, a choreographed light display, glowing orbs in the Monet Pool, and projections on the Science Pyramid.
Crews began putting up the holiday lights after Labor Day. All lights used in the event are LED, in line with Denver Botanic Gardens’ value of sustainability.
Denver Botanic Gardens said treats and warm drinks will be available for purchase at Offshoots Café and the Hive Garden Bistro during Blossoms of Light.
Blossoms of Light opens for the season Wednesday, Nov. 20. Ticket reservations can be purchased at BotanicGardens.org through Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025. There are no ticket sales at the door.
