The Northglenn Police Department responded to a home in the 200 block of Belford Drive early Friday morning.
NORTHGLENN, Colo. — Three people were killed and three other people were wounded in a shooting early Friday morning at a home in Northglenn.
According to police, officers responded to a home near Belford Drive and Bruce Lane just after midnight for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived they found that multiple people who were at a large Halloween house party were struck by gunfire.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and five others were taken to the hospital. Two of those victims later died from their injuries, bringing the total number of people killed to three.
Police believe there were multiple shooters involved. Police are trying to identify the people involved but so far no one is in custody.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification to family members. The identities will be released at a later time by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
