DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — Three people were injured in a crash that closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Douglas County Saturday night.
The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said the crash happened at around 7:20 p.m. south of Castle Rock and involved three vehicles.
The driver and passenger of one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital. Another driver was extricated and airlifted to the hospital, according to CSP. The third driver was not injured.
The southbound lanes were closed for hours between Plum Creek Parkway and Tomah Road. Just after 10:30 p.m., CDOT said they had reopened.
