COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Southbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed and one person was taken to a hospital Saturday morning due to a rollover crash involving a semi in Colorado Springs.
At 10:20 a.m. Saturday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported that teams were on the scene of a “rollover traffic accident” involving a semi on I-25 and South Circle Drive. There were “parties trapped” in a vehicle, the fire department said.
In an update, CSFD said one person was extricated and transported to a hospital.
Southbound I-25 is closed south of the Martin Luther King Jr Bypass to Circle Drive due to the rollover, the department said. Drivers going southbound are being diverted to MLK.
