Davon Williams is currently the secretary of the Englewood Schools Board of Education.
DENVER — The secretary of the Englewood Schools Board of Education pleaded guilty on Friday.
Davon Williams, 34, plead guilty to criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to pay nearly $500, according to court documents.
The original warrant was for aggravated car theft, a felony, but Williams took a plea agreement that dropped the charge, court documents say. He also has two prior felony theft convictions from 2012 and 2014.
Court documents show he was released on bond when he turned himself in November 2023. It was not clear which county Williams turned himself in to.
Williams was elected to the Englewood School Board because he ran unopposed.
