One person was injured in a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi Saturday morning, Commerce City Police said.
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 76 were closed in Commerce City after a semi truck overturned after being involved in a crash with a pickup truck Saturday morning.
The crash occurred in the 10600 block of I-76, Commerce City Police said.
In a picture posted by police, a truck can be seen pinned under the semi’s trailer and tangled in the barrier wires in the median of I-76.
Police said one person was injured in the crash, but didn’t specify if it was the semi’s driver or someone in the truck involved.
The eastbound lanes were closed after the crash. Just before 3 p.m., police said the highway was back open.
