The Rebels had five rushing touchdowns in a 35-14 victory over the Wildcats.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — The win streak just keeps getting longer.
Columbine hasn’t lost a football game in nearly two years, and that remained the case Friday night following a 35-14 victory over Jeffco League rival Arvada West.
The Rebels haven’t lost since November 2022, which includes an undefeated (14-0) run to the Class 5A state championship title last season.
On Friday, Columbine had five rushing touchdowns — three from Mark Snyder and two delivered by James Basinger.
“This might be the toughest test of the year so far,” Basinger said. “We’re the hardest workers in the state. For sure.”
The Rebels (7-0) also had three interceptions on defense. The Wildcats fall to 5-2 on the season.
