CU news conference: Deion Sanders speaking Tuesday before Kansas State game

All seven of CU’s football games this season have been on national television. The CU Buffs earned another prime TV slot for their game against Arizona.

BOULDER, Colo. — University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders will address the media Tuesday as the Buffs return from a bye week.

Sanders’ news conference is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Colorado Buffaloes are preparing to face the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday night. The game will be broadcast nationally by ESPN at 8:15 p.m. Mountain time Saturday at Folsom Field.

The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that Colorado’s next road game, at Arizona on Saturday, Oct. 19, will kick off at 2 p.m. Mountain time. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.

The Arizona game will be Colorado’s seventh in seven games that will be be broadcast nationally. The six CU games selected for network television this season are the most in a season in program history, breaking last year’s record of five.

The Buffaloes and head coach Sanders will appear this season on all four networks in the same season for the first time in school history. Games this season have been scheduled to air on FOX, CBS, ABC and NBC.

In Colorado’s last game, quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns to help the Buffaloes match its victory total for all of last season in a 48-21 victory over Central Florida.

Travis Hunter had a touchdown catch and interception for the Buffaloes (4-1, 2-0 Big 12), who have won three straight games following a road loss to Nebraska. Hunter struck a Heisman pose after his second-half interception.
