DENVER — A man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday morning in northeast Denver, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened sometime before 1 a.m. Wednesday on Peoria Street just north of the Interstate 70 interchange. The victim died of his injuries. His name has not yet been released.
Police said they are investigating the man’s death as a homicide. They’re still working to determine what led up to the shooting, and no suspect information was immediately available.
