AURORA, Colo. — A man is dead after a shooting in Aurora Friday night.
The Aurora Police Department said in a release that officers responded to a report of a shooting at a business near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Helena Street at around 8:45 p.m. Friday.
The release said a man was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He died shortly after arriving there.
Police said the preliminary information is that an argument and a fight led to the shooting. No one has been arrested, and no suspect information has been released.
The shooting happened near the Whispering Pines Condominiums, police said, but there is no information about any possible connections to the migrant community or gang activity.
