ROUTT COUNTY, Colo. — Both directions of US Highway 40 are back open after a rockslide in Routt County Wednesday.
The rockslide happened west of Steamboat Springs around 7 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). Highway 40 between County Roads 68 and 50 was closed as crews worked to clear the debris.
The highway reopened around 5:20 p.m., CDOT said.
