Englewood High and Middle schools evacuated after bomb threat

Englewood High School and Middle School were being evacuated due to a bomb threat on Tuesday.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Englewood High School and Middle School are being evacuated on Tuesday due to a bomb threat, a spokesman for the Englewood Police Department confirmed.

The schools are both located at 3800 S. Logan St. According to police, the threat was made toward the middle school but because the school buildings are connected, both are being evacuated.

Englewood Police said they’re working with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad to search and clear the school.

On Sept. 9 both schools were also evacuated after an anonymous tip indicated a device was inside the combined building, Englewood Police said. During that incident, the students were bused to a different school within the district.
